AutoCAD 2010, Matrix, and Windows 7
Updated February 24, 2010

February 1. 2010 - AcroPlot Repro has been released with support for Windows 7 (32 and 64 bit) as well as improved color output and several other improvements.

March 8, 2010 - AcroPlot Pro and AcroPlot Matrix - This is the release date we are shooting for on all of the next versions of our products. Hopefully we will release before that but we cannot promise anything.  Since all of the projects share major portions of common code the development on everything has kind of progressed along together instead of being able to wrap up one single product.

Included in these releases will be:

  • Windows 7 32 and 64 bit support
  • AutoCAD 2010 Support (32 and 64 bit) for both users with AutoCAD installed and without it
  • AcroPlot Matrix for editing and marking up existing PDF files.

Statement from our Owner
While CADzation greatly values it's customers and has worked hard since 2001 to provide the best PDF software for AutoCAD users there are times in life when some things are more important than business.  And unfortunately for me personally this is one of those times and I first and foremost need to be there to help and support a loved one through her battle with cancer.  As the Owner and still the Head Programmer of CADzation much has always relied on my shoulders which normally wasn't a problem with my 60 to 80 hour work weeks over the last 8 years.  But over the last few months and the upcoming months I cannot work those hours and several things have fallen behind to say the least.  But I am going to accept full responsibility for them not being done.

I started CADzation to help Engineers and Architects do their job more effectively and to make their jobs more enjoyable because it was the repetitiveness of tasks that I always hated as an Engineer.  Everyone who works for us believes in the program and what it does for our customers.  I've never treated it as much of a business as I probably should have and as such we will be enforcing maintenance from now on to improve our programming resources so we never get in a bind like this again.

Again I wish there was more we could do and give you definitive answers but right now I cannot.

Sincerely,

Rodney McManamy

If you would like a beta version of AcroPlot Pro
CADzation clients that are current on maintenance will be allowed to install our beta versions for testing.  Please note that these versions will not function after March 31 so you will have to download and install the release version when available.

Once the betas are posted the links below will work.  If they do not work then the Beta is not available yet.

Sorry for the confusion with the beta filename.  The correct download as of February 24 is:

AcroPlot Pro Beta (Matrix is not included in this build) - www.cadzation.com/downloads/acroplotsetup-beta.exe

Maintenance Policy that will be enforced with the new versions.
